Here’s my biggest tip for discovering whether you’re LGBTQ+ ⤵️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re feeling like you might be part of the LGBTQ+ community, then there’s a big chance you actually are!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This was definitely the case for me, especially when I was figuring out my lesbian identity — I had such a strong desire to be part of the lesbian community and to call myself a lesbian, but I also thought I couldn’t possibly be a lesbian because I had only dated guys up until that point.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But it turns out that not only did I not have to have dating experience to use this label, but also, most straight people don’t have a deep desire to be a lesbian!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And the same goes for you — if you have an inkling that you might be part of the LGBTQ+ community (and especially if you take any “Am I gay?” quizzes online), then you likely *are* queer 🌈 (Though if you realize you’re not, that’s okay too!)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Overall, I promise that you are valid in your identity — even if you’re still discovering it! — and you don’t have to do any deep explaining or soul searching in order to “prove” that this is you ❤️
